Did you know the last time a GOP challenger beat an incumbent Dem State Senator, DuHaime was the campaign manager?

From Politico's Jonathan Martin:

Rudy Giuliani's campaign manager Mike DuHaime will be featured as Fox News Sunday's "Power Player of the Week," according to a source not named Mike DuHaime.

DuHaime, a son of the Garden State, returned to his Tri-State roots to run Rudy's race earlier this year after serving as political director of the RNC. Before that, he was the regional political director for the northeast for Bush-Cheney '04.

Known for his decidedly un-Jersey-like, easy-going demeanor, DuHaime is mature beyond his 30-some-odd years and will likely be a very good sport about the inevitable razzing that will come when hometown friends, college buddies and his campaign hack cronies get wind of his honor.

"He’s obviously working very, very hard at it. I mean he’s traveling all over the country as chairman of the [Republican Governors Association] and I think at this point he has as good a chance or better than anybody else. His name is household word all across the country, and I think he would make a great president."
