Corzine headed to Nevada to stump for Clinton

On a request by the Sen. Hillary Clinton campaign, Gov. Jon Corzine is flying to Nevada tonight to stump this weekend for the presidential candidate who is coming off of a disappointing third place finish in Iowa.

Tomorrow the govenor plans to meet with campaign staff, help open aClinton campaign field office, discuss the caucus process, meet with businessleaders and host an economic forum, said Corzone spokeswoman Lilo Stainton.

"Hillary Clinton has the right combination of experience and new ideas that voters are looking for and Gov. Corzine is happy to take her message to the people of Las Vegas," Stainton said.

Home to 33 Democratic Party delegates, the Nevada primary is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19th.
