We are proud to present PolitickerNJ’s 2011 Power List of the 100 most influential people in New Jersey politics.
For the first time, we are releasing the list as part of our annual Year in Review, where we recap the year in politics that’s coming to a close.
It was a tumultuous year in Trenton as Gov. Chris Christie continued to dominate headlines with a presidential dalliance and growing national presence. But it was also a year that saw Democrats score some important victories. One victory in particular stood out, as you’ll see from our choice for the most influential politico of the year.
The 11th hour shake up in the governor’s administration caused some angst, but true to our mission, we made the necessary changes and this list represents the most up to date information available. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
We’ve been proud to bring you the most comprehensive political coverage in the state over the past year and we’re honored at the loyalty you, our readers, have shown. This is just the first part of our final year end package. Check back next week for our annual awards, where we celebrate the circus that is New Jersey politics.
