BRAMNICK TO TOUR 21ST DISTRICT TOWNS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY

Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick will survey hurricane damage in all 16 towns he represents in the 21st District as New Jersey recovers from Hurricane Sandy’s devastation. “As our communities deal with a tremendous loss, I want to meet with those who have been affected and offer any assistance possible. My office stands ready to work with constituents and local and state officials as we recover and rebuild.” Bramnick R-Union, Morris and Somerset, said. “I want to thank all the police, fire fighters and first aid personnel and other volunteers who put themselves in danger to keep us safe.” Bramnick urged residents to stay off the roads as much as possible to allow utility crews to repair downed trees and wires and restore power as quickly as possible. “Recovery from this disaster requires cooperation and patience during very emotional times,” Bramnick said. “Rescue and repair workers are doing the best they can and we can support their efforts by restricting non-essential travel.” Bramnick said constituents should visit the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management web site, http://ready.nj.gov/, for important information about the recovery, volunteer efforts and power outages.

"I’m an undertaker by trade, so when I bury somebody, they don’t come back."
