State offices will be open Thursday

EWING – Gov. Chris Christie announced Wednesday evening that state offices would reopen Thursday after being shuttered by Hurricane Sandy for three days.

The governor made the announcement during his evening news briefing. He asked that officials at private companies “have flexibility” for their employees, but said he thought it was appropriate for people to begin to return to work.

“I’m asking our folks to come back to work tomorrow,” he said.

"Plato didn’t think much of it [democracy] as a system of government, but then again Plato had a world of forms removed from reality where he could take refuge from the collisions of society."
