Christie not sure about traveling to RGA conference next week

SOMERSET – Gov. Chris Christie says he is not sure yet whether he plans to attend next week’s Republican Governor’s Association meeting.

The governor said he would “like to be able to attend” the meeting in Las Vegas, but stressed it would be contingent on the status of the recovery effort in the state.

“(I) haven’t thought about that,” Christie said after being asked about the conference.

"Since the print publication of this list, Christie, in his capacity as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, helped decisively turn the midterm elections in the Republicans' favor, which makes him a bit more influential than we initially gave him credit for, post-Bridgegate. So when your state governments do absolutely nothing for you for the next four years, be sure to thank him!"
