Healy fundraises in JC

Trying to get off the floorboards and in the game against a highly energized Fulop Campaign, Team Healy held a fundraiser last night at Casino in the Park and raised over $100,000.

Money has been the big issue for Healyites against well-financed downtown City Councilman Steve Fulop as Mayor Jerry Healy fights to hold onto City Hall.

Money, and momentum.

Last night, Healy’s allies tried to address both issues, as Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise surveyed the large crowd and remarked, “It looks like Woodstock.”

750 people, according to estimates.

Fulop’s allies dismissed the hoopla as bused-in seniors trying to look festive in the face of 2013 disaster.

"Since the print publication of this list, Christie, in his capacity as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, helped decisively turn the midterm elections in the Republicans' favor, which makes him a bit more influential than we initially gave him credit for, post-Bridgegate. So when your state governments do absolutely nothing for you for the next four years, be sure to thank him!"
