Kyrillos: Bauman & Hanna Nominations Deserve Swift & Fair Hearings

Senator Joe Kyrillos (R-13), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said that the nominations of David Bauman and Robert Hanna to the New Jersey Supreme Court deserve a swift, thoughtful and fair consideration by the Senate. Kyrillos issued the following statement in response to the nominations:

“The Governor has once again nominated a pair of individuals who appear to have the requisite qualifications to serve on our state’s highest court.

“David Bauman serves as the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division of the New Jersey Superior Court in Monmouth County. His experience on the bench, in private practice, and in service to our nation in the Marine Corps is impressive. As one of my constituents, I supported David’s nomination to the Superior Court and helped usher him through the confirmation process. I am proud to support David once again, and proud that Monmouth has put forward someone of his stature for consideration on the Supreme Court.
