Labor coalition raises money for Gill

Essex County Freeholder Brendan Gill had a breakfast fundraiser with labor on Wednesday, burnishing a broad coalition of hardhat support.

Attendees included Greg Lalevee, operating engineers local 825 business manager; Bill Mullen, president of the NJ State Building and Construction Trades Council; Tony Oliverira of Laborers Local 472; Ray Pocino, vice president and regional manager of LIUNA; Marty Schwartz, president of the Essex County Building Trades; Michael Capelli of the NJ Regional Council of Carpenters; William Kennedy of Plumbers Local Union 24; and Assemblyman Tom Giblin (D-34), president and manager of the Essex West Hudson Labor Council.

Gill raised $10,000.
