BRAMNICK SUPPORTS CREATION OF NEW JERSEY SAFE TASK FORCE

Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick, R-Union, Somerset and Morris, issued the following statement on Governor Christie’s Executive Order creating the New Jersey SAFE Task Force to take a comprehensive look at the issues that contribute to violence: “It is extremely important for us to look at ways to reduce violence in our society. I strongly support the creation of the task force by the Governor. “The bipartisan task force consists of members with a range of expertise and philosophical backgrounds, who will examine these issues from every perspective. “I look forward to working with the Governor, the SAFE Task Force and the Legislature on bipartisan solutions that will prevent violence and make New Jersey safer.” ####

"He’s obviously working very, very hard at it. I mean he’s traveling all over the country as chairman of the [Republican Governors Association] and I think at this point he has as good a chance or better than anybody else. His name is household word all across the country, and I think he would make a great president."
