Democrat Zipprich running for Assembly in LD 11

Red Bank Councilman Ed Zipprich is running for the Assembly in Legislative District 11.

“He wants to do more, and I intend to help him succeed in doing better for our state,” John Paul Nicolaides, chairman of the Friends of Ed Zipprich, wrote tonight in an email.

“Because of the conversations Ed and I have had about politics and political action in Red Bank, NJ and the country, I know where he stands and what he will accomplish,” Nicolaides added. “I am proud to be the first to let you know that Ed Zipprich has formed an election committee, Friends of Ed Zipprich, to seek the nomination to run for Assembly in the 11th District of New Jersey.”

The GOP incumbents this year in LD 11 are Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande and Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini.

"Since the print publication of this list, Christie, in his capacity as chairman of the Republican Governors Association, helped decisively turn the midterm elections in the Republicans' favor, which makes him a bit more influential than we initially gave him credit for, post-Bridgegate. So when your state governments do absolutely nothing for you for the next four years, be sure to thank him!"
