Runyan To Present Books to Ocean County Elementary School What: On Wednesday January 9th, Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) will present books from the Library of Congress Surplus Books Program to Hugh J Boyd Elementary School. The Library of Congress makes available extra copies of all published books in the United States for donation to qualified charitable organizations and schools. Boyd Elementary School was one of the hardest hit schools in South Jersey as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The school was completely flooded and lost its entire library collection in the storm. Congressman Runyan will present the school’s Principal with several boxes of books from the Library of Congress, and will then tour Boyd Elementary to see the progress of the clean-up and reconstruction efforts.
