Passaic County Democratic Chairman Reaching Out To County Residents Interested in Political Office

Woodland Park, NJ- January 31, 2013– Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie is seeking candidates interested in interviewing for all elected positions in or touching Passaic County: State Senate and Assembly in state legislative districts 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40; Passaic County Sheriff and Passaic County Freeholder. “The Democratic Party wants to meet qualified people who are interested in politics and potentially running as candidates for elective office. We are encouraging those residents interested as potential candidates to send resumes to my office,” said Chairman Currie. Those interested in politics and possible candidacy for elected offices should contact Rita Pascrell in the PCDO office at (973) 279-4647 and prepare to send a resume and letter expressing their interest by February 18, 2013. In addition, elected representatives who wish to seek re-election need to send a letter expressing their desire to seek support from the PCDO to Chairman John Currie.
