Paterson Mayor Jones reacts to Prez’s speech

In Washington, D.C. for inaugural festivities, Paterson Mayor Jeff Jones told he plans to attend the presidential inaugural ball this evening.

“I actually teared up when the President was introduced,” said Jones. “An overwhelming sense of pride. And pain. What will folks look for beyond his vision and purpose? I have been blessed to be here.”

Jones met Obama in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, when the President toured flood-ravaged Paterson.

"It’s not a political environment that’s particularly warm for incumbents, but it looks like Booker has little to be worried about as the campaign season draws to a close."
