BRAMNICK: CHRISTIE BUDGET PLAN KEEPS NJ MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

BRAMNICK: CHRISTIE BUDGET PLAN KEEPS NJ MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick, R-Union, Morris and Somerset, issued the statement below following Governor Christie’s Fiscal Year 2014 budget proposal before a Joint Session of the Legislature today: “Governor Christie outlined a fiscally responsible budget that supports core priorities while not increasing taxes. We are funding educational aid at an historic level and will be making the largest pension payment in state history, while still spending less than the Corzine budget of Fiscal Year 2008. The governor has crafted another sound budget plan that continues to move our state in the right direction by placing taxpayers first.” #### On the Net: http://www.NJAssemblyRepublicans.com NJ Assembly Republicans on Facebook NJ Assembly Republicans on Twitter

"He’s obviously working very, very hard at it. I mean he’s traveling all over the country as chairman of the [Republican Governors Association] and I think at this point he has as good a chance or better than anybody else. His name is household word all across the country, and I think he would make a great president."
