District 36 Announcement

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the NJ General Assembly in District 36. Over the next several weeks and months I look forward to running an active, grass roots campaign throughout the entire district. I will make it a priority to meet as many residents as possible in every District municipality. Due to the old Democrat policies of tax, spend, and borrow, our businesses are suffering, our economy is stagnant, and unemployment remains high. As a conservative member of the legislature, I will work for you, and with Governor Christie to bring fiscal responsibility and accountability back to Trenton. With every vote I take in the legislature, I will remember who I am working for, and whose money I am spending. I know that with your support, we can bring common sense solutions back to our district and New Jersey. James Keyes Republican Candidate for General Assembly Legislative District 36

"He’s obviously working very, very hard at it. I mean he’s traveling all over the country as chairman of the [Republican Governors Association] and I think at this point he has as good a chance or better than anybody else. His name is household word all across the country, and I think he would make a great president."
—former U.S. Rep. Jim Saxton (R-3), on Gov. Chris Christie
