Senator Shirley K. Turner (D-Mercer/Hunterdon) announced that she is partnering with the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) to help established businesses grow their companies in New Jersey. The partnership will provide more opportunities for businesses to receive free counseling from the NJSBDC about business and strategic planning, financing, government contracts, marketing, human resources, or other needs and concerns. One-to-one counseling opportunities for small business owners will be available by appointment in Senator Turner’s Legislative Office at 1440 Pennington Road, Ewing, New Jersey. “New Jersey’s small businesses serve as the engines that power our state’s economy,” said Senator Turner. “I am proud to support small business growth and job creation by providing access to resources that can support and educate small business owners and assist them in making important decisions for success.” Appointments are available on February 20, March 6 and March 20 between 9 – 11 a.m. Meeting opportunities are provided at no cost and are supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New Jersey, and the County of Mercer. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting Senator Turner’s Office at (609) 530-3277 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. “The NJSBDC provides comprehensive services to potential and existing small businesses at little cost to the State, but with enormous returns for our state economy,” said Senator Turner. “The free counseling provided by the NJSBDC will enable New Jersey’s small business to capture their full potential. Any small business in search of information and support to help them grow should take advantage of this counseling opportunity.”
