(Woodland Park, NJ ) The Republican municipal chairpersons of the Passaic County Regular Republican Organization are unanimously supporting Frank Feenan for Sheriff in this year’s Republican Primary Election on June 4,” says PCRRO Chairman John Traier.
“The chairpersons of all 16 municipal Republican organizations have expressed to me their complete support for Frank, without equivocation,” said Traier. “This demonstration of party unity is extremely important as the PCRRO moves forward in this very important election year.”
Among those who support Feenan are Dan Jurkovic and Mike Ramaglia, chairman and vice – chairman of West Milford Republican Organization, who said: “Frank has demonstrated he has the skills and ability to run a winning campaign and be a first class sheriff when he is elected in November.”
Feenan, a former Captain with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s office, will be squaring off with current Democratic Sheriff Richard Berdnick who was elected three years ago.
Joe Cupoli, the GOP chairman of Clifton says Feenan is “an outstanding choice” to go up against the incumbent sheriff. “Frank has the intelligence and the administrative and law enforcement experience to make an excellent sheriff. He is a man of great integrity and he is simply best suited to represent the Republicans in a face off against Sheriff Berdnik.”
Feenan’s campaign is off to a good start; he raised $40,000 in his first fundraiser in early April and has more fundraising events planned before the June 4 Primary Election.
“Frank may be new to politics, but he has a great feel for people and I think his honesty and integrity are very evident in everything he does,” says Traier.
“I appreciate the support of the Republican municipal chairs and I respect their political knowledge,” said Feenan. “Their backing means a lot to me and I vow not to disappoint them. I promise to work hard right through Election Day until the last voted is counted.”
Feenan is running on a ticket headed by Gov. Chris Christie and alongside the PCRRO’s freeholder candidates Phil Weisbecker of West Milford and Christian E. Barranco of Pompton Lakes.
