The candidate you haven’t heard of in LD 34

A third candidate filed today to run in the 34th District state Senate contest.

County Committeeman and former East Orange School Board President Vernon Pullins Jr. of East Orange submitted 303 petition signatures to get on the June Democratic Primary ballot.

To this point the contest has been defined by challenger Mark Alexander, a law professor at Seton Hall; and incumbent state Sen. Nia Gill (D-34).
