Governor postpones Sandy-related appearance

TRENTON – The governor had been slated to attend a Sandy Housing Recovery announcement at 11 today in Manahawkin, but it has been postponed.

The announcement of the postponement comes on the heels this morning of revelations regarding emails between an ousted Port Authority official and a member of the administration’s office.

Gov. Chris Christie has consistently denied he had any involvement with the Fort Lee lane closures in September, but the emails show there was communication between N.J. appointee David Wildstein, a former PolitickerNJ editor, and Christe’s deputy chief of staff for legislative and intergovernmental affairs, Bridget Anne Kelly.

"The governor still has to come to bat."
