Abate gets Speziale's support

Fifth district Democratic congressional candidate Camille Abate announced the endorsement of Passaic County Sheriff Jerry Speziale today.

“A woman of conviction and fight can win this district,” said Speaizle.  “That woman is Camille Abate.”

Abate is running for the Democratic nomination against blind rabbi/psychologist Dennis Shulman, who has raised about twice as much money.  Abate ran last year, losing the nomination to Paul Stuart Aronsohn.

Whichever Democrat wins will have an uphill battle to fight against incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Garrett.

You Are Irrelevant - II

If you take into consideration that they are competing to be the Democrat nominee against Scott Garrett, then here is how a more realistic article would have been written:

Irrelevant Gets Sheriff's Support by Matt Friedman

Irrelevant announced an endorsement by the county sheriff today in the race for the Irrelevant nomination in the 5th Congressional District.

Irrelevant is running for the Irrelevant nomination against Irrelevant.  Irrelevant ran last year, losing the nomination to Irrelevant.

The general election against incumbent Republican Scott Garrett will be an uphill battle, regardless of whether the Irrelevant nomination is won by either Irrelevant or Irrelevant.

Make Garrett irrelevant

Perhaps the voters of the fifth district will realize the corruption and incompetence of the Bush Administration and decide a change is needed. It is most likely the Democratic Party will run Congress and the White House after the 08 election. Scott Garrett has been a water carrier for the Bush Administration.

Camille Abate is a fighter and a woman of principle.  The country needs a major change in direction from the Bush ideology. Democrats need representatives who stand by their convictions. New Jersey needs a Democratic representative in district 5.

Camille Abate continues to pick up support and endorsements from labor and law enforcement. Abate would be the perfect choice and help make Scott Garrett irrelevant.
