Burlington— The campaign of 7th District Senator Diane Allen today announced the endorsements of several major labor unions in her campaign for re-election. Senator Allen has been endorsed by:
-New Jersey AFL-CIO
-CWA District 1
-CWA Local 1034
-Burlington County Central Labor Council
-New Jersey Education Association
-New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association
-New Jersey State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police
“I am honored to have the support of organized labor in my campaign for re-election,” said Senator Allen. “The men and women that these organizations represent deserve to have Legislators fighting for their interests in Trenton, and I’m proud to stand with them.”
Diane Allen, a former television news anchor, has been an active member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) for over thirty years.
“Our working families are those hardest hit by the affordability crisis that we face here in New Jersey,” Senator Allen continued. “As a Senator, I will continue to fight for real property tax reform and affordable healthcare in order to make New Jersey a more affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.
