ROBERTS STATEMENT ON CLEAN ELECTIONS VOTE

(TRENTON) - Assembly Speaker Joseph J. Roberts, Jr., (D-Camden) today issued the following statement after the Clean Elections measure was pulled from today's Senate agenda:

"Today's vote was disappointing, but hopefully just a temporary setback. Because of the Thursday session, I remain hopeful that Republicans will join with the majority of Democrats to save this vital program."
