Senator Leonard Lance (R-Hunterdon), 55, a former Senate Minority Leader, is a graduate of Lehigh University and received a master’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.  He served as an Assistant Counsel to the Governor before winning a State Assembly seat in a 1991 special election.  He moved up to the Senate in 2001.  Lance is seeking the Republican nomination for Congress in the 7th district.
