CARMEN PIO COSTA WELCOMES RUNNING MATE
Don Diorio Becomes Assembly Candidate in the 36th
Nutley, NJ -- Assembly Candidate for the 36th District Carmen Pio Costa today congratulated Don Diorio on his entrance into the race. Diorio becomes the second candidate seeking to unseat incumbent politicians Fred Scalera and Gary Schaer and represent Nutley, Passaic, and nine south Bergen towns in Trenton.
"I am glad to have Don as a partner in the fight to get our state government to listen to the people," said Pio Costa, a businessman from Nutley. "Trenton has refused to hear the taxpayers as they've called for less spending and taxes and more government reforms. Don, like me, is a citizen who believes the public deserves better."
Don Diorio is a resident of Carlstadt and runs a professional meeting business, Concierge Services Group, LLC.
"When it counted the most, our opponents have listened to their political boss rather than the voters," said Pio Costa. "They have supported the sales tax and business tax increases that are costing our district jobs. They support the EnCap boondoggle that has fleeced our property taxpayers. And they refuse to call for a true end to double-dipping by elected officials. It is time for the 36th district to send a couple of citizen legislators to Trenton who will look after the public's interests alone."
