Nicholas Chiaravalloti, who lost last night in his bid to represent the 31st district in the Assembly, said he has no regrets."We left it on the field," said the Bayonne native and former head of Sen. Bob Menendez's New Jersey office. "I love the energy we created."
Chiaravalloti, a lawyer, said he does not know what the future holds, but admits he finds it hard to resist "the public service bug." He's going to take the next four days to figure out what he's going to do next.

Nicholas did a great job in
Nicholas did a great job in this campaign. I'm sure there will be wonderful things in his future. In the meantime - Max and Wally - for goodness sake C-H-I-A-R-A-V-A-L-L-O-T-I Watching the site bungle his name is painful. Not quite as painful as listening to Laura Jones call him Chiara-ravioli, but still.
GO BACK TO BOSS MENENDEZ
And take Joe Doria with you.
HE'S DONE
He thought Manzo's money, Menendez'x clout, and Doria's organization could carry him to victory. He was wrong. He'll go back to carry luggage for Menendez.

The bayonne results were a anti Joe Doria vote. The widow got more votes than Glen did in 03.People voted sandy to get to Chiapone.Nick is right when he said they left it on the field, the Manzo GOTV on election day was a joke.
Good luck Nick
Nicholas is a brilliant young guy with a bright future. Not suprisingly, Hudson voters elected 3 morons instead. Nick is far better off out of the Hudson cesspool.
Nick's a Good Candidate....the Future of Hudson County
He was a great Assembly candidate and he should have won. He was hte best of the bunch. He is the future of Hudson County along with Fulop and a few others in Hoboken.
The numbers in Bayonne say it
I hope Nicholas continues to fight for the people of Bayonne. The people in Bayonne spoke with the great turnout for a primary election and voted overwhelmingly for CHIARAVALLOTI. If I recall correctly Tony the Phony came in third in the city where he is councilman at large! If any one has luggage to carry I would think it's your pal the phony and his promises to the container port people.
Just Go Away Quitely
Chiaravallotti rode Manzo's coatails in Bayonne. Manzo knew he had no shot in JC because we shut him down here. In Bayonne, Manzo had the support of Joe Doria and the Bayonne Democratic Organization. It is also a fact that the HCDO's Column A democratic committee people challenged and worked for Manzo and Chiaravallotti while on the HCDO line! We actually expected to lose more in Bayonne than we did. But Chiappone hustled his butt off and kept it close for the whole team. With Doria soon to be gone, they will have no one to stand in Chiappone's way. Doria may have to stay as Mayor for three more years out of spite! But word is, he wants that DCA job in Trenton REAL BAD!
