This week's Cartoon Caption Contest

Barack Obama appeared on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' earlier last week, and delivered his second top ten list. Now is your chance to take your game to the next level and do a better job than the paid writers on the Late Show staff (just no strikes please).
Come up with a pointed caption for this cartoon and post it in the comments link below. Keep it clean (this is a family website) and keep it brief (brevity is the soul of wit). When you post, include your name and the name of the city where you live. If you wish to remain anonymous from others, simply email your caption idea to me at rob.tornoe@politicker.com. Your deadline is noon Friday.
We'll post the winner's name and caption here Saturday morning, along with several runner-ups. If you send us your name and address, we'll mail the winning writer a color print of the cartoon with the caption, signed by Rob Tornoe. Please allow at least 4 weeks for delivery.

Oh please
I find all of the nonsense about his hand on his heart, the lapel pin, to be pure and simple garbarge. Go to any sporting event and you will see thousands of people talking through the national anthem-hands at their sides. As far as pins go-they are not a sign of patriotism. Lets judge him on HIS ideas. Not Rev Wrights. I did not vote for Obama, I am a Clinton supporter, but nevertheless Obama is a good man that wants to inspire much needed change.

The lapel pin caption was poking fun at those who take Obama to task for NOT wearing the flag lapel pin. This is a CARTOON thread. It's not a place for serious analysis of Obama's humanity. I'd suggest you stick to pissing matches with Lonegan and Carroll, given your inability to appreciate sarcasm (be it clever or not). Besides, if you keep going through life with this unfailingly somber tone, you'll end up with a major case of roids.
