Corzine to nominate Rousseau for Treasurer

Governor Corzine announced today that he will nominate Deputy State Treasurer David Rousseau for State Treasurer.

Rousseau also works as Senior Advisor to the Governor for Budget and Fiscal Policy, and before moving to Treasurer’s Office worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Senate President.

“David is the consummate professional who has distinguished himself throughout state government, and I am confident he will continue to do so as State Treasurer,” said Governor Corzine in a press release. “His expertise in fiscal matters will be a tremendous asset in the upcoming months as we implement a fundamental restructuring of New Jersey’s finances, and seek long-term solutions to the state’s fiscal matters.”

Great Choice

Congratulations Dave...10 years from now I hope you're the guy everyone credits for helping to reverse the state's fiscal situation.  This is the moment you've thought about all your life so make the most of it!

Unconventional, what were you smoking when you posted?

Dave won't be calling any shots nor behind any action that is taking place.  All the shots are directly being controlled from the Gov's office.  Brad A. is the man calling the shots and running Treasury.  Dave is going to be the puppet Treasurer for two reason. One, fill the spot and move Ms. Davies to the front office with Brad and Two, make Cody happy having one of his guys in the office.

Do you even think that Dave was at Drum when Brad and crew were coming up with this entire plan?
