Corzine's approvals worse than McGreevey

Governor Jon Corzine’s new poll numbers, an upside-down 37%-52% rating, are worse than Governor James E. McGreevey’s upside-down 38%-47% approval rating in a Quinnipiac University poll released eight days before his resignation in 2004.  Corzine, then a United States Senator, had a 46%-28% approval rating in the same survey.

I wonder

Corzine's approvals are indeed terrible-I just cant wait to read all of the GOP "I told you so" comments-I will only remind them that GWB's approvals are equally as bad-which they explain as poor GWB having to make tough calls...

The Lautenberg/Codey/????? Switcheroo

I just wonder how long it's going to take before state Democrats pull yet another switcheroo, be it Dick Codey or anybody else they dredge up.

If New Jersey voters fall for this again, I will officially deem this state utterly hopeless.

its still early for Corzine

Mike Bloomberg was hugely unpopular in his first few years too, and look at him now.

Here's the problem - when

Here's the problem - when you ask someone how they feel about a toll hike, they say they hate it.  When they relate that to the Governor, they say they disapprove of him.

The reality is that the Republican Party will, as usual, nominate a terrible candidate and Corzine will be re-elected.

In the end, he'll get re-elected.  This is NJ after all and the people do not support the perception of the Republican Party.  Until the GOP gets a message and does a better job of organization, they are doomed for a while.

And no conservatives, that does not mean nominating modern day conservatives.  Ronald Reagan winning towns in NJ was over 20 years ago.  Get over it, times have changed.

Keep believing your own rhetoric

You're as delusional as those people who think Hillary is going to make a comeback in Texas and Ohio.
