Courier-Post endorses one Assembly candidate in Robert district

Does anyone take Gannett seriously?

Joe Roberts and his status as one of the top leaders of state government make for the best possible representation the people of the 5th District could dare hope for. In fact, the people of any district would be damned lucky to have him representing them in the Legislature.

This is not a John Bennett situation-- this is simply a small group of people abusing the power they think they have. They are doing their readers an extreme disservice. Can you imagine for a single second that the 5th district would be better off if they actually took this franchiser's advice?

This is just silly. I don't know how anyone could take Gannett seriously after this.

Maybe Gannett

Maybe Gannett is interested in what's best for the whole State, instead of just the 5th District.

The Gannett is a staunch supporter of getting rid of incumbent politicians since they've done such a whiz bang job of driving this State into the ground fiscally.

Joe Roberts as a long time Legislative leader should get tagged with some of that responsibility.

But don't fret, the voters in the 5th know who's buttering their bread, so they won't change representatives. Why stop the gravytrain? It ain't costing them nothing...
