New Jersey CWA Legislative and Political Director Bob Master today Seema Singh is running a smear campaign and strongly endorsed Republican Bill Baroni for State Senate. "Bill Baroni's opponent would like to obscure this record by call him a 'Bush Republican.' Well, we've never met a 'Bush Republican' with a record like this," Master said. "These smear tactics don't work because Bill's record of independence, and his support for working families, is impeccable. Let's stop the name calling and focus on the issues that really matter to the voters of the 14th District."

CWA is a non factor
CWA was right on top of this issue! Does anyone even care what CWA leaders have to say? Talk about a paper tiger! Baroni is probably better off without them getting involved. This union has been exposed as both dysfunctional and impotent. Even their own members don't pay attention to them any longer.
Seema Singh: The Real Non-factor
Seema Singh is the real non-factor in this campaign. Her campaign has been one act of desperation after another. The CWA isn't alone in endorsing Baroni and attacking Singh's desperate tactics either - over the past few weeks, many other groups and leaders have taken a stand against Singh's baseless attacks.

Seema like she is toast.
Issueless. A lost ship in the night. Running against a prolabor, proenvironment, protaxpayer Republican.
CWA should keep their mouth shut
Where was Carla Katz??? She wasn't there to protect Billy Boy?? Maybe Baroni doesn't want to get involved with her because she's in a bit of hot water.
With leaders like Bob Master and Carla Katz, does it really even matter what the CWA has to say? They should focus on keeping their own lives in order, and taking care of their members’ interest, and not siding with republicans.
This race is over
Senator Baroni will do a fine job for the 14th district and will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future (but not in 2008, he's not gonna pull a Jeff Van Drew).
Now it's all about the Assembly Race and the campaign getting people out to vote down the ticket.
no
Baroni needs to go...
he is part of the problem...
he is in office... ALL of them need to go... unless he goes on the air and says everything he knows about inter office corruption... he needs to go too...
ALL of them need to go... period...
The only difference between death and taxes is that death doesn't get worse every time Congress meets. - Will Rogers
Seema Scarier than Halloween
I doubt she'll even win Monroe way things are going. I think Martin-Turner will be a lot closer than Singh-Baroni.
The problem with GRIP
is it fails to recognize the incumbents who have done a good job and have stood up against corruption. Baroni has introduced a ton of ethics bills that would clean up the mess in Trenton, it's not his fault the majority does not want to put it up for a vote. If anything people should get rid of one party rule.
