The wife of Assembly Minority Leader Alex DeCroce has joined the Mitt Romney for President camp, according to State Sen. Joseph Kyrillos, the state's New Jersey chairman for Romney's campaign.
BettyLou DeCroce's politically prominent husband supports former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for president.
The DeCroce's are also split on the GOP U.S. Senate primary: the Minority Leader is backing his running mate, State Sen.-elect Joseph Pennacchio, while his wife, the Roxbury Township Clerk, serves on Anne Evans Estabrook's exploratory committee.
Kyrillos said that former Assemblyman Dick Kamin and Freeholders Erik C. Peterson from Hunterdon and Hal Wirths from Sussex, have also endorsed Romney for president this week. In addition to Kyrillos among the ranks of New Jersey elected officials, Senate Minority Leader Leonard Lance supports Romney; as does Assemblyman-elect Jay Webber.
