Wojciech Siemaszkiewicz, the Republican candidate for State Assembly in the 37th district, appears to have a valid complaint against a fellow Republican, Bergen County Clerk Kathleen Donovan. The sample ballots in District 37 list the Democratic incumbents, Loretta Weinberg, Gordon Johnson and Valerie Huttle in a larger, bolder font than the GOP challengers. While the incumbents have qualified for the "Clean Elections" designation, there is nothing in the law that allows Clean Elections candidates to have their names printed in bigger type on the ballot; indeed, the law specifically requires the names of candidates to be the same size.
No word from the Bergen GOP about whether they will go to court to seek a remedy.

The Donovan / Carbone express
Message to all Bergen Republicans..... Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me. Fool me 3 times...bring her to court and win
This just gives me a
This just gives me a splitting headache. That's all I can say.

Outrageous
The 37th district republicans have every right to sue and bring this to court. Why should the democrats get emphasis on the sample ballot, where people look to see which candidates to vote for? I wonder if Kathleen Donovan is going to embolden her opponants name on the sample ballot when she runs for re-election...
wow
That's just bizarre.
Donovan is just clueless, I suppose....
But is the Bergen GOP even competent enough to make a challege?
Any Wonder why...
Donovan didn't win the primary?
Duhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Duh.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Duhhhhhhh.
How pathetic.
Lesson Learned
I guess here is where I would chime in on what a phony "republican" Kathleen Donovan is, but then I would risk the resident RINO's here taking me to task for being "disloyal to the party", lol.
Alleged Reformers Silent
It’s interesting to see that Loretta and Co. have been quiet on this, I’d think they would want to stand up to a possible injustice that certainly brings their names into it but have nothing to do with. Where is Oury or Joe F? They are willing to fight pay to play but ballot mistakes are not of interest? This should be bipartisan support to investigate what happened in the Clerks office as to why something like this was able to go out this way. Any costs involved should not be at taxpayer expense.
