Defies all credibility.
Does anyone in the administration realize that Asselta was a long-time member of the Vineland school board, one of the biggest losers of his bought-and-sold vote?
This stinks to high heaven.
Asselta will be going before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Once he's under oath, ask him specific questions about who offered him what, and when. He's either got to perjure himself or tell the truth. Abelow may not be aware, but someone sure is.
While we're at it, put the whole lot of them under oath. Trading an official action for something of value is illegal, and both the administration and Asselta have done it.
Next, someone needs to propose "Nick and Jon's Law," which would require a two-year cooling off period between a decisive vote on any bill (let's say any bill that passes or fails by less than 60 percent) and any appointment.
Enough is enough. You can't claim to be an ethical administration and then run this kind of an arm-twisting syndicate. Is that the only way they can win a vote?
This website gets worse each day
I used to check this website out frequently but with polls like this I don't even care to glance at it. The owners should be ashamed of irrelevant attacks such as the one on Joe F in this poll. Wally - how can you even be affiliated with this anymore.
Maybe you should check the attendance at the BPU to see which Commissioners even show up to work there!
Poll question
Don't let anyone think that this is the original PoliticsNJ website or it's writers and contributors. The original P website was novel and full of great NJ political history. Once the Observer purchased it from the then former Wally Edge, Bob Sommer, the person who ran it, made it not worth the pages printed on and if anyone knows him, it's shoddy at best. The never was and never will be tried to get back at everyone whom he had a grudge against. Now, the new owners and operators of this site aren't even from the state. Nuff said. People who know Joe Fiordaliso realize he is one of the most decent human beings out there and truly a public servant. Did you ever see the majority of political hacks working in our state? Please. Pathetic just like this rotten website. Oh, and I hope it fails miserably. Problem is, I'm as guilty as anyone who reads this garbage. Just say no. Losers!
pathetic
loser of the day - politicsnj.com - say what you want about asselta but joe fiordaliso??? you guys suck! here's a subject for your next poll: when did this pathetic site jump the shark???
