Norcross, Haines re-elected

The GOP State Committee today voted to re-elect David Norcross and Virginia Haines to the Republican National Committee. They were unopposed. Norcross, a former GOP State Chairman and the 1976 U.S. Senate candidate, has served as a National Committeeman since 1988. Haines, who served as an Assemblywoman and state Lottery Director, won the National Committeewoman seat in 2004, defeating longtime incumbent Judith Stanley.

Congrats to Norcross and Haines...But......

Same people for the same positions.  How do we expect to encourage new blood to participate in the NJGOP?

Good Choices

There is plenty of room and opportunities for new people in the GOP system.  National Committee people must be those who have "been around the block".  In particular, Norcross has been excellent in keeping the NJ GOP "the party of inclusion".  He's a fair guy.  And, most certainly, deserves the position.
