Darcy is Corzine's new press secretary

Sean Darcy, a former spokesman for Gov. Richard Codey, will be Gov. Jon Corzine's new press secretary. Corzine is expected to announce on Monday that Darcy, a former Department of Community Affairs staffer who now works for the Governor, will replace Lilo Stainton as his press secretary.

Darcy is a savy Trenton insider who understands the gentle balance between defending the governor and working closely with the media. He will be a critical asset to Corzine and his cadre of senior advisors, particularly during a time when no one believes Corzine is running for re-election.   Here's the ultimate question:  Will Corzine allow Darcy to do his job?

Corzine made a good decision in picking Darcy. He will be an excellent front-man for an administration that badly needs to turn the corner.
