Epps joins endanged list (if he wasn't already there)

Hudson County Democrats are becoming increasingly hesitant to support the re-election of Assemblyman Charles Epps next year -- especially after a Jersey Journal report that Epps, the Jersey City Superintendent of Schools, has put four of his school district employees on the legislative payroll -- "further blurring the lines between his two public roles." Epps took some heat last Spring after reports of lavish spending on a taxpayer-paid trip to London, including a $500-per-night hotel room.

Three other Hudson legislators are in danger of losing party support for re-election in 2007: Senate Majority Leader Bernard Kenny, who is also the Hudson County Democratic Chairman; State Senator Joseph Doria, who just narrowly survived a re-election battle for Mayor of Bayonne last June; and Assemblywoman Joan Quigley.

AWWWWW, Poor Joan! So that's what years of being a loyal and devoted pawn of Nick Sacco gets you? Too bad that the only people who come up against him every four years are sociopathic crackpots!

Joan should just be grateful that she gets to go out with dignity unlike the Peter Perez's, Michael DiGiovanni's and Joe Mocco's of North Bergen past.

Kenny is no great loss.

At this time last year he was going to propose a 25 cent tax on gas. Can you imagine that?

If your pissed about my Jets beating your Skins on Saturday, relax Matt. It's only preseason!

P.S. I thought the line was: "It rubs the lotion on its skin before it gets the hose again."

Since Lambs isn't my cup of tea I could be wrong. I'm more into comedies, Rocky and anything starring Kelly LeBrock.

Best two lines from the series:

"You're gonna eat lightnin'; you're gonna crap thunder."

"And I thought maybe a statue for the church and a snow cone machine for you Paulie. You like snow cones right?"

I don't know why I like the 2nd...I just kind of like Paulie's reaction to the question... and of course the line about Rocky taking Adrian to the Zoo...but that wouldn't be PC would it?

I liked the beginning of that Press conference sequence where he said that the first thing he was going to do was pay the rent.

A hilarious line from the infamous fifth installment was :

Yo Tommy, at least you had an old man to knock out...y'know?

I could do this all day!!
