Monmouth County Leaders Pledge to Fight for Forrester's 30%-in-3 Guaranteed Plan
'Only Doug's plan provides the property tax relief New Jerseyans need'
(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) - Gubernatorial nominee Doug Forrester was joined today in Oakhurst by more than a dozen Monmouth County officials and candidates who endorse Forrester and his 30%-in-3 Guaranteed plan for property tax relief. From Labor Day to Election Day, Forrester is making multiple stops in all 21 counties on a Take Back New Jersey Tour to tell residents about his plans for the state.
"Property taxes take too much money out of the pockets of hardworking New Jersey families and seniors," Forrester said. "They need property tax relief now, and my 30%-in-3 plan will provide the maximum relief for the most people."
Forrester's plan guarantees a 30 percent reduction in homeowners' property tax bills within three years, and preserves existing rebate programs for renters and seniors. New Jerseyans are guaranteed at least the same amount of relief they received last year - unlike under Corzine's rebate scheme - and most will get substantially more relief.
"People across the state are being crushed by the burden of outrageously high property taxes," said Monmouth County Freeholder Bill Barham. "Only Doug's plan will provide real relief."

Since the NJ Senate will be Democratic for the next two years, and the NJ Assembly is likely to be Demcoratic for the same, how is it that the Forrester campaign expects to get its 30 in 3 Constitutional amendment passed?
The fact is that this is at best a 30 in 5 plan assuming the Repbulicans can take over the entire legislature in two years, a pretty big assumption.
There is simply no way that this will pass, making this a cynical political ploy. Promise things you know you can't deliver, then blame the other guy when you fail.
