Forrester: Take Back New Jersey from Corrupt Politicians and Corrupt Policies
Forrester continues bus tour in Morristown
(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) - Gubernatorial nominee Doug Forrester today continued his Take Back New Jersey bus tour in Morristown, joined on the Green by state legislators and county officials.
"It's time to put an end to the systematic abuse of power by those who serve their own interests at the expense of the public interest," said Forrester. "It's time to put an end to the government corruption and political cronyism that has gone unchecked for too long, and cost New Jerseyans too much. It's time to Take Back New Jersey from the political power brokers - and return it to the taxpayers."
Forrester has previously proposed detailed plans to restore government integrity and ethics in New Jersey, including ending pay-to-play at all levels of government.
"We must end the political patronage and sweetheart deals that cost taxpayers so much," said Assembly Leader DeCroce. "Doug Forrester in the governor's office will bring the change New Jersey needs."
Also standing with Forrester today to endorse him and his plans to fight corruption and lower property taxes in New Jersey were 26th District State Senator Bob Martin; 25th District Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll; Morris County Sheriff Ed Rochford; Morris County Freeholder Margaret Nordstrom; Freeholder Frank Druetzler; Freeholder Director Jack Schrier; Morris County Clerk Joan Bramhall; and Chief of the Morris County Park Police William Huyler.
