Press Release

Liberal Loser Lobbyist To Run For NJ GOP Senate

Release Date: Apr 11 2008

Jersey City, NJ – New Jersey conservative Republican leader Dr. Murray Sabrin, the Garden State’s strongest advocate of limited government and individual freedom and candidate for United States Senate, reacted to Dick Zimmer being selected by a Democratic Fat Cat and Lobbyist to run for United States Senate replacing Andy Unanue. Major Democractic donor, Rafael Ceullar, and Lobbyist Rob Ortiz chose fellow Liberal Lobbyist Dick Zimmer to run against Dr. Murray Sabrin in the Republican Primary. Dick Zimmer lost by more than 10% to former Senator Bob Torricelli in 1996 and then lost in 2000 to Congressman Rush Holt.

Many fund-raising experts do not expect Dick Zimmer to raise any money after his two previous failed campaigns.

Dr. Murray Sabrin said, “I will be happy to contrast my 30 years as a Constitutional Conservative against a Liberal Losing Lobbyist like Dick Zimmer in any debate or forum. Dick Zimmer will need to explain his support of partial-birth abortions. Dick Zimmer will need to explain his opposition to the Second Amendment. Dick Zimmer will need to explain why a Democractic Fat Cat chose him to run for the United States Senate instead of Republican voters. Dick Zimmer will need to explain why his lobbying partner is the former Co-Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Chairman.” Sabrin continued, “Dick Zimmer has a lot of explaining to do to with Republican voters!”

“As a high-priced Washington Liberal Lobbyist, Dick Zimmer has a lot more in common with Frank Lautenberg than he does with New Jersey taxpayers. He is pro-abortion, against gun rights, and was hand-selected by a few liberals to run last minute. The only real difference between Dick Zimmer and Frank Lautenberg is Dick Zimmer is a two-time loser and is a Washington Lobbyist. Sabrin continued, “Dick Zimmer has a lot of explaining to do with Republican voters!”

Murray Sabrin is a successful entrepreneur working in commercial real estate, portfolio management, and economic research.
