State Sen. Nia Gill has endorsed Teresa Ruiz for State Senate and Grace Spencer and Albert Coutinho for Assembly in the 29th district, along with Essex County Clerk Christopher Durkin and Newark South Ward Councilman Oscar James.
“Essex County is the most diverse in the State, and we are faced every day with very complex issues, Gill said. “This ticket represents what is right about New Jersey. We need representatives like Teresa Ruiz, Grace Spencer and Albert Coutinho in Trenton who understand our neighborhoods. They will bring that knowledge and life experience to the Statehouse and help us push for meaningful legislation that will improve our quality of life. I am committed to these candidates because these candidates are committed to you, the people."
