Hundreds of Republican County Committee members from across Gloucester County gathered Tuesday evening for the GOP county reorganization meeting at Nicolosi’s Catering in Woodbury. They unanimously elected their officers for a two year term. Reelected Chairman was Loran Oglesby of West Deptford. Elected as Vice-Chairman of the party was Rich Quinnette of Woodbury Heights. Reelected Treasurer was Bob Hudgins of Mantua, and reelected Secretary was Hellen Frye of Woolwich Township.
In addition to the election of GOP Officers, the group also heard remarks from the four Republican county candidates:
Freeholder candidate Lt. Col. Dr. Andrew Savicky of Glassboro
Freeholder candidate Paul Marino of Washington Twp.
County Surrogate candidate Bill Gilson of Monroe Twp.
County Clerk candidate Walt Kieba of Woodbury Heights.
In attendance, in addition to Republican county committee members, were Republican elected officials from around the county, local candidates for office in various municipalities in the county and Republican state legislative candidates. Chairman Oglesby announced a “Meet the Candidates” fundraising breakfast to be held on June 24th at Nicolosi’s from 10: 00am until1:00pm with Keynote speaker Peter Mancuso.
