GOP tells Gordon & Voss to take a stand on Coniglio

The two Republican Assembly candidates in the 38th district say that Assemblymen Robert Gordon and Assemblywoman Joan Voss should "admonish the actions" of their running mate, State Sen. Joseph Coniglio. Coniglio, the target of a federal corruption investigation, is running a joint campaign with Gordon and Voss.

“Whether the conflict is real or perceived, Gordon and Voss should not idly sit by while there is a federal investigation in their district”, said John Driscoll, a Republican Assembly candidate from Paramus. Driscoll continued to note that Gordon and Voss have also received federal subpoenas in connection to the budget scandal. “Gordon and Voss were both also served with federal subpoenas, yet they remain silent. The people of the 38th District deserve principled and ethical leaders, not politicians who dodge important issues.” concluded Driscoll.

“Public officials are responsible to the citizens they represent, the people deserve answers, not silence.” said Renee Czarnecki, a Republican Assembly candidate from South Hackensack. “Sadly, this brings corruption to a new level. District 38 is the only district where all three legislators were served with federal subpoenas. Apparently our opponents do not think they need to recognize this major issue.” concluded Czarnecki

If Gordon and Voss knew what

If Gordon and Voss knew what was going on, they should resign just like Coniglio should resign. If they didnt know what was going on, then theyre not doing their job and should at least apologize to the voters and call for coniglio to resign.

"Admonish" Coniglio for what? He hasn't even been charged with anything. Gordon and Voss" response to Driscolol should be "BUZZ OFF"
