TRENTON
- Governor Jon S. Corzine today announced Uwe E. Reinhardt, Ph.D., a world-renowned authority on health care economics and a Princeton University professor, will head the Commission on Rationalizing Health Care Resources. The panel, announced earlier this month, is charged with working to ensure the state’s supply of hospital and other health care services is best configured to appropriately respond to community needs for high-quality, affordable and accessible care. Additionally, the panel will ensure that there is proper oversight and accountability of limited public funds.
“I am so pleased to have someone of Professor Reinhardt's caliber to head this very important effort, said Governor Corzine. “His background and experience are exactly what we need to ensure the commission fulfills its important mandate, which includes ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely so we can help meet New Jersey’s health care needs in a sustainable way.

This is the same fellow who ran away to Canada rather than serve in the post war German Army, then came down to the USA for the big bucks.
He is an admitted proponent of the "single payer" scheme, otherwise known as socialized medicine. He was part of the Hillary health care fiasco. Well, whom else would you expect from Corzine? A man who won't defend his own country tinkering with the health of another.
