STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR CORZINE ON THE PRESIDENT’S NOMINATION OF FEDERAL JUDGES FOR NEW JERSEY
TRENTON – The White House today announced that President Bush nominated four federal judges for New Jersey. This announcement comes as a result of an agreement reached over the last several weeks with Senators Lautenberg and Corzine.
“I am extremely pleased that the President has nominated this distinguished group of New Jersey lawyers. Senator Lautenberg and I worked hard to develop a package that represents the best of New Jersey. This stellar group includes the nation’s leading prosecutor of public corruption, a dedicated crime fighter from South Jersey, and a trailblazing federal magistrate – all committed and respected public servants. I look forward to their service on the federal bench.
