Still hoping for former Vice President Al Gore to enter the 2008 presidential race, Assemblyman Reed Gusciora filed an “Uncommitted” slate of delegates to run in the February 5 Democratic primary. Joining Gusciora are Princeton Councilwoman Wendy Benchley, Princeton Democratic Organization President Jenny Crumiller, and former Princeton Mayor Jim Floyd.

Hey, Ya Neva Know...
I'm embarrased to say that I dropped out of the effort to run as a delegate in my LD because of the way the Gore folks discouraged the effort.
I've come around to believing that Gore genuinely doesn't want to run.
On the other hand; in the unlikely event that there is no majority on the first ballot; it's nice to know that at least a few folks might be able to nominate Gore as a draftee.
If, by then, the rest of the field has lost it's lustre the delegates just might draft Al. I don't think he would then refuse to serve. Clearly, he would kick ass in a general.
So, Reed, thanks for trying to buy us all a lottery ticket!!!
