A 94-page manifesto written by U.S. Senate candidate Joseph Pennacchio in 1991 that calls for, among other things, the elimination of Medicare/Medicaid, cuts in defense spending, camps for the homeless, better methods of birth control, criminal I.D. bracelets, forced military service, and forcing Israel to pay reparations to Jordan and an assimilated Palestinian population, and the creation of a third party, is likely to be the topic of considerable discussion among Republicans and Democrats over the next few days.
Pennacchio sent this manifesto to then-Assembly Minority Leader Chuck Haytaian in May 1991, along with a check for the ’91 Assembly GOP campaign and a request to see if there was a place in the New Jersey GOP for him. He ran for Congress three years later, challenging incumbent Rep. Dean Gallo in the Republican primary. Gallo won the primary by a 2-1 margin, and died of cancer a few months later.Joe Ferriero's recent legal woes -- allegations that he assaulted a woman at a Labor Day barbecue at his home, and a federal probe of a grants ... >

Is this a joke?
I have read Jersey Joes piece cover-to-cover. Its undeniably laugh out-loud funny. Word of advice to Joe: when starting a new Party (the Nationalists) which sounds so virulently Reichian, don't advocate for "work camps" even if those camps are for the homeless. I havent read such crazy ramblings since the Unabomber wrote his own manifesto. Buh-Bye Jersey Joe
--Saint Joe--
Enough is Enough
This is what the ultimate realization of big government creates. We need someone representing the GOP who has true limited government Republican values, not someone who supports creating a third party that promotes fascist solutions that would destroy the USA as we know it. I hope that "Jersey Joe" steps aside and takes these fascist out of our state where there is no place for them.
What's with the Gender Amendment
....wants a constitutional amendment to prevent women from being hired from jobs for which they are not physically able? .....like what? plumber? soldier? President of the United States?
I guess Jersey Joe had no idea
that he was ever going to run for office, much less the US Senate. How stupid can you be to send something like that out!
He should wear a brown shirt and a funny arm band to his rallies now! I think he has clinched the Nationalist party nomination...wait a minute there is no nationalist party! How unfortunate for him!
Jersey Joe becomes ... Jersey Joke
I am sorry but I missed this altogether today. What is that? Jersey Joe wrote a book with his ideas. What ideas? What book? And even better he sent it out. Was it published? Luckily no, but somebody kept a copy. I do not really have time to read junk, but those excerpts (call them executive summaries) sound pretty good. It is Jersey Joke now. Yes, it is time to fold the campaign and go to the bin of history. Sorry Joe. No not sorry. Next time know what you are asking for. Jersey Joke for US Senate. Please, can we stop being embarassed in NJ by NJ politicians? Anything in there about threesome?
I thought he was pro life
I thought he was pro life and pro gun. It certainly apears from his manifesto that he is willing to register and ban certain guns and his abortion stance is all over the map.
