Republican State Chairman Tom Wilson issued a statement today comparing John McCain’s new running mate to Gov. Jon Corzine.
“New Jersey is going to love Sarah Palin, She is everything that Jon Corzine isn’t. She is a straight talking fiscally conservative reformer who has fought corruption, attacked wasteful government and delivered real results. Like John McCain, she has a record of doing what’s right and working with those from both sides of the isle to deliver change and shake up the status quo,” he said. “When it comes to change the McCain Palin team hasn’t just talked the talk they’ve walked the walk.”

There is hope for NJ.
If McCain/Palin ticket wins NJ over Obama/Biden, it will signal that NJ is ready to embrace a conservative/moderate candidate, who is fiscally conservative and a reformer. I would add here that he/she is also tough on crime. There might be hope for NJ in 2009.
yeah she'll fit in with corruption
she may be tough on crime but not her own corruption. since she's under federal investigation for using her office to benefit her brother-in-law. it's also hysterical all these so-called "zero tolerance" b.s. reformers like O'Toole willing to take koolaid for the McCain (one of the Keating 5) Parlin ticket. At least we won't hear them whining about Obama's lack of experience anymore. but then again O'Toole, Wilson and gang are a bunch of hypocrites.
Palin needs a make-over
The hair has got to go. Looks like she came in for her monthly supplies. Needs the help of a Dominicana.
Abuse of Power
She used the power of the governor's office to carry out a personal vendetta against her brother-in-law for a messy divorce with her sister. She then fired the public safety commissioner for refusing to carry out her vendetta.
Is this any different from firing federal prosecutors for not being 110% loyal to the party line? "Change" for Republicans is really more of the same. Unethical, corrupt and power hungry.
Her brother in law...
Not sure if its going to be a winning situation for the Democrats to defend a guy that was caught drunk while on duty multiple times and allegedly tasered his step-son. Have fun with that.
Her brother-in-law was a
Her brother-in-law was a definite a-hole. That's without a doubt, but we are a society of laws, not personal vendettas. That's not what Democrats are arguing or defending. What is in question is the ethics of using the governor's office to meet out a personal vendetta against someone. It brings into question her ethics. Can she be professional enough to check her personal issues when taking the public's trust in doing her job as a public official? Or maybe, if she becomes VP, she might pressure FBI, NSA, Homeland Security to tap the communications of others she dislikes to even some scores. We don't know that, but her record so far is troubling.
Something fishy.
"The governor, eight months into her pregnancy, noticed amniotic fluid Thursday morning prior to giving a keynote luncheon address at the Republican Governor’s Energy Conference in Texas. After wrapping up the speech, Palin and her husband consulted with her physician about possibly flying home on an earlier flight. After being granted permission from her doctor, she and her husband proceeded with the trek home."
That's an eight hour flight back to Alaska from Dallas. In addition:
"Governor Palin was extremely pleasant to flight attendants and her stage of pregnancy was not apparent by observation as she didn’t show any signs of distress."
No stress at all? That's incredible. Not even when going into premature labor with a child with Down syndrome?
Airlines usually require a written notice from a physician for women flying in the last month of their pregnancy. But this, if true, was already hours into a labor. Others have said that labor times usually get much shorter after subsequent child births.

At the same time, Bristol Palin was out of school for 5-6 months during the last few months of the pregnancy supposedly suffering from mono.
Something smells fishy.
Now they are going after her parenting.
Between picking up for the cop that likes to drink and now playing NYTimes on McCain's "affair" with Palin's parenting, the Democrats are like the gift that keeps on giving. Please, keep talking and alienate more women for us. I just hope MSNBC gives Olberman, Matthews, and David Schuster ALOT of airtime in the next two weeks. The way the Dem talking points are unfolding they are bound to say something stupid and mysogynistic.
Palin laughs as opponent is called "bitch" and "cancer".
A radio interview with Gov. Palin where the radio host calls cancer surviving Sen. Green a "bitch" and a "cancer" while she sounds quite gleeful.
