All six of Rob Andrews' New Jersey House colleagues have endorsed Frank Lautenberg for U.S. enate, and have pledged to run on his line in the June 3 Democratic primary.
"Frank Lautenberg is New Jersey's senator and we stand with him. He delivers for New Jersey in the U.S. Senate and is invaluable to our state. That is why we will run in our home counties on the same line with Senator Lautenberg in the Democratic primary," said Frank Pallone, Donald Payne, Bill Pascrell, Steve Rothman, Rush Holt and Albio Sires in a joint statement. "Senator Lautenberg's leadership is critical to New Jersey's future. We urge our colleague, Rep. Rob Andrews, not to run for U.S. Senate."
Lautenberg released the following statement in reaction to his colleagues support: "I am proud to stand with my colleagues in support of unity and the Democratic values we all believe in. I am running for reelection to build on my recent achievements and to deliver results that will improve people's lives in New Jersey. I will continue to stand strong for New Jersey, and partnering with my colleagues in the House and Senator Menendez, we will be able to change the course of our country away from the Bush years and toward a brighter future for New Jersey families."

You're Going, Going, Gone! Andrews, You're Outta Here!
Done in the voice of Harry Calis.
Hard to get excited about the fossil.
Lautenberg's arrogance got him in the predicament he finds himself today.
No one has seen the guy since he's won.
A one on one contest with Andrews would leave Frank in a tough spot. How hard would Hudson work to save him? How hard would Essex or Bergen work for him?
It would be a close contest if it takes place.
Vote Column "A" - All the way!
Pallone..Andrews
So does this mean by playing nice Frank Pallone will now be the party favorite to get the next open seat, whether it be US Senate or Gov. next year?
Rob Andrews has been passed over way too many times and backed off way too many times. Either he does this or he's stuck as a Congressman.
Great Idea
Andrews is blinded by his ambition. The notion that the people wanting change is just feeding Adrews who is an opportunist. Electing Andrews is just SOS. To change one Democrat for another it is not "Change!" That is better defined as a SNAFU. The only change Andrews would deliver for the people of New Jeresey is a change of status from SNAFU to FUBAR.
By the way, am I the only one that thinks Andrews has been separated at birth from McGreevey?
"Hollywood is a place whre thy'll pay you a thousand dollars for a kiss and 50 cents for your soul." - Marilyn Monroe (She never knew how profound she was.)
Blind Ambition
Andrews is suffering from "Blind Ambition" that is designed to serve him, only. He is an opportunist who is not loyal to the Democratic Party or New Jersey.
