GOP chairs prepared to switch from Unanue to Crowley

The seven Republican County Chairmen where Andy Unanue has the organization line held a conference call today and agreed to endorse John Crowley for the United States Senate, according to several sources. Unanue has party organization support in Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Hudson, Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Mercer County voted this week to endorse Crowley if he runs, and sources say that Burlington County Republicans, who have not backed a new candidate since Anne Estabrook withdrew from the race, are also expected to support Crowley.

Sources say that State Sen. Kevin O’Toole, the Essex County GOP Chairman, strongly leans towards Crowley.

State Sen. Joseph Pennacchio will have the line in Bergen, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Passaic, Salem, Somerset and Union counties. He also enjoys support of party leaders in Morris and Warren counties, which have open primaries.

Murray Sabrin, the leader of Ron Paul’s New Jersey campaign, has the organization line in Gloucester County.

Complete Disgrace

These people have ZERO integrity or honor..

This race has been a complete disgrace and revealed these party bosses to be out for one thing, themselves.

At least Unanue screened by phone, this guy is just getting the lines.

Another candidate with zero positions known.

John Ensign is an embarrassment to the NRSC.

Here are the names of the disgraceful bunch:

Adam Puharic, Keith Davis, George Gilmore, David Von Savage.

Agree

The guy may have a touching story and he may be a successful businessman, but there is a LOT missing from him. You know, like, his stances on the ISSUES! Once again, we know virtually nothing about him, but the leadership is ready to endorse the guy. This entire race is really pathetic. None of the candidates are ideal; some are better than others. At this point, Lautenberg is going to DOMINATE. D-O-M-I-N-A-T-E.

Back in the USSR we are!

The game of musical chairs is on. Today the winner is somebody named John Crawley. "The seven Republican County Chairmen where Andy Unanue has the organization line held a conference call today and agreed to endorse John Crowley for the United States Senate." Da, da, da! All is right in the USSR. Our beloved Chairmen take their duties to the Party seriously. Our Leaders take their duties to the members of the Republican Party with the utmost consideration. They all have interests of poeple of NJ in their hearts and on their minds. Long live to these Chairmen and Leaders!

Sabrin or LOSE!

You Republicans can't only not shoot straight, you guys can't even shoot in the same direction. Sabrin is and always was your best candidate but because he is an independent thinker, you guys can't handle that. That and because he's smarter than all of you decision makers combined. Do I detect an inferiority complex a brewin? You must want a puppet or robot to control. Just because McCain speaks you guys bow down with your tail between your legs.

Why even bother to participate in government?

Just don't even show up for the election. Take a four year sabatical and get your freakin' act together. Stop wasting everyone's time and money on a losing venture. Aren't you guys supposed to be 'The Smart Ones?'

It would be nice to have some kind of choice to make in November?

It's better now to

It's better now to deliberate and go through all possible scenarios. Politics is not a straight forward game, especially when we are still 2 months away from the PRIMARIES. The GOP is going to have a strong candidate, possibly and hopefully, John Crowley. Better to explore all the possibilities, and be safe. Last I checked, the Democrats were the ones standing divided with Andrews entering against Lautenberg. The 7th is 36 hours away, hold your horses people.

Andy Unanue endorsements

Sad how quickly these Counties who so strongly supported Andy are now jumping ship at least Mercer left the door open.

SORRY GOP SEVEN

Where was this brain trust last fall?  The Estabrook campaign was going to be the gravy train so these guys sat on their butts and didn't recruit anyone.

So  now they use the excuse it's for the best candidate possible?

The lessons learned here are :

1.Anyone seeking Statewide office in the future in the NJ GOP beware of these 7 turncoats.

2. The State GOP Committee is a joke and needs to be replaced  ASAP.

3. The party has no Statewide leader at this moment in time with the integrity and guts to get this party going back in the right direction.

I pray that Joe

remembers all this when he wins in June.  He is going to have to rely on his own structure to run his Nov. campaign.  The State and most of the Counties GOPs are going to hibernate after June.

It wasn't the minor stroke that killed the Estabrook campaign.  She was beaten badly on March 1st at the Union convention.   She actually thought her "country club" buddies actually "ran" the party.

A.J. Sparxx for US Senate

'The Commish', A.J. Sparxx, once Pro-Wrestling's Law & Order is now the Republican Party's Law & Order candidate, as he announces his candidacy for the US Senate race.

The seven dwarves, all named Dopey.

Do any of these seven Republican County Chairmen know anything about how Crowly stands on issues?

No?

Didn't think so.
